Place the machine at its final location on a level, load-bearing floor and secure it using the holes in its feet. The appropriate dowels, anchors or screws depend on the floor; a DIY store can advise you. They must be provided on site and are not included in the delivery (Details in the FAQ).
Ready to sell in 10 steps.
This guide takes you through setting up your vending machine step by step. You can manage product names, images, prices and stock levels yourself. Tick off each step as you complete it during setup. Further information is in the instructions supplied with your model.
Check the location, delivery route and power connection once more.
Prepare the machine
Position, switch on and check the basic settings.
Open the door with the key, switch on the internal power switch and wait until the touchscreen shows the complete sales screen.
- Tap the device ID at the top left five times in quick succession.
- Log in using the credentials in the handover documents.
- Replace the start password with your own password and keep it safe.
Check the language, currency, time, date and temperature unit. On refrigerated models, set the cooling mode and target temperature to suit the goods. Activate the glass heating if required.
Set up the product range
Manage products, prices, images and stock.
Choose products that fit the location and target group. Load them from front to back into the matching compartment. The products must dispense freely and must not get stuck. Older stock goes to the front.
Open the desired compartment in compartment management. Enter product name, price, capacity and current stock. You only need a description if it helps the buyer.
Save the information and then check on the sales screen that the name and price appear correctly. For a large product range, you can alternatively manage the same data in bulk using Excel (step 8) instead of one compartment at a time.
Image from the library: In the product details, select Produkt ändern / Change Product and assign the appropriate image.
Your own product image: For image and Excel import, use an empty, FAT32-formatted USB stick with a maximum of 32 GB. In the Android file manager, copy only the clearly named product images to TcnFolder/ImageGoods; other files and folders remain unchanged. Then select the image in the product library and remove the USB stick.
Check the assigned image directly on the sales screen.
- On the machine, export the product list to the USB stick: empty, FAT32-formatted, maximum 32 GB (as in step 7).
- Edit the exported
TCN_product.xls; column names and slot numbers remain unchanged. - Import the file again in Warengang-Verwaltung (compartment management) using Regalimport (shelf import).
- Wait for the success message, remove the USB stick and restart the machine if the software prompts you to.
In the spreadsheet you can manage product name, description, product code, price, stock and capacity. Assign product photos via the product library as in step 7.
Check payment & start
Test payment methods and complete the first test purchase.
- Card payment: Check whether the operator account of the built-in terminal is active.
- Cash: Load change and check the accepted banknotes.
Details are in the supplied component documents. Restart the machine after changes to payment devices.
For each modified compartment, perform a test vend and then complete a full test purchase with each enabled payment method.
- Product name, image and price are displayed correctly.
- The amount charged matches the price.
- The product is dispensed cleanly.
- The stock level is updated correctly.
