Ready to sell in 10 steps.

With this guide you set up your machine step by step. Product names, pictures, prices and stocks can be maintained yourself. Check the steps taken during the setup directly. For more information, see the instructions provided in your model.

Phase 1

Prepare Device

Set, turn on and check basic settings.

Place the machine on a level, load-bearing floor at the final location and secure it using the holes provided in its feet. The appropriate dowels, anchors or screws depend on the floor; you can consult the hardware store on this. These fasteners must be supplied on site and are not included (Details in the FAQ).

Important: Plug the machine directly into a normal socket (Schuko, 230 V), not into a multiple socket and not via an extension cable. No other high-power appliance should run on the same circuit. Before switching on, note the waiting time after transport and the clearance from the supplied instructions of your model.

Open the door with the key, turn on the internal power switch and wait until the touch screen displays the sales screen completely.

  1. Tap the device ID at the top left five times in a row.
  2. Log in using the credentials in the handover documents.
  3. Replace the start password with your own password and keep it safe.
Security: No passwords or access codes visible on the device.

Check language, currency, time, date and temperature unit. Set cooling mode and set temperature to match the product in cooled models. Activate the glass heating if necessary.

Phase 2

Set up assortment

Maintain products, prices, images and inventory.

Choose products that fit the location and target group. Insert them from front to back into the appropriate compartment. The products must dispense freely without getting stuck. Older goods come forward.

Tip: Set up and test a compartment completely. Then transfer the process to the rest of the product range.

Open the desired compartment in compartment management. Enter product name, price, capacity and current inventory. You only need a description if it helps the buyer.

Save the information and then check the sales screen to see if the name and price appear correct. For a large product range, you can alternatively manage the same data in bulk using Excel (step 8) instead of one compartment at a time.

Own product image: For image and Excel import, use an empty, FAT32 formatted USB stick with a maximum of 32 GB. Copy only the uniquely named product images in the Android file manager TcnFolder/ImageGoods; other files and folders remain unchanged. Then select the image in the product library and remove the USB stick.

Check the associated image directly on the sales screen.

Two ways possible: Product data can be managed individually in compartment management (step 6) or in bulk using Excel. If you have already entered the data individually, skip this step and mark it as not needed.
  1. Export the product list to the USB stick at the vending machine: empty, FAT32-formatted, maximum 32 GB (as in step 7).
  2. Edit the exported TCN_product.xls; Column names and slot numbers remain unchanged.
  3. Import the file again in Warengang-Verwaltung (compartment management) using Regalimport (shelf import).
  4. Wait for the success message, remove the USB stick and restart the machine when the software asks for it.

The table allows you to maintain product name, description, product code, price, inventory and capacity. As in step 7, you can assign product photos via the product library.

Phase 3

Check & Start Payment

Test payment methods and complete the first test purchase.

Recommendation: Use card payment and cash. Depending on the location, a purely cashless operation can also be useful.
  • Card payment: Check whether the operator account of the built-in terminal is active.
  • Cash: Insert change and check the released banknotes.

The details are in the included component documents. Restart the machine after changes to payment devices.

For each modified compartment, perform a test vend and then complete a full test purchase with each enabled payment method.

  • Product name, image and price are displayed correctly.
  • The amount charged is in line with the price.
  • The product is delivered cleanly.
  • The inventory is updated correctly.
Conclusion: If everything is correct, the vending machine is ready to use.
